I was born in NY, a first Generation Greek-American. As the only daughter (with 3 sons) to a misogynistic, patriarchal, old-fashioned, emtionally-unavailable Greek man, I did the only thing a self-respecting female could do at the age of 6: I stood up to the bear of a man, who beat and tried to oppress me (& my mother); I fought for our inalienable rights (while she didn't) through protest, strikes and rebellion.
My strict upbringing meant I didn't get to socialize much with the Americans, but my parents also never brought us back to Greece to visit, so I never fully identified with a nationality. To add fuel to the fire, we spent most of my childhood looking and moving for better opportunities. New homes, new towns, new states, new schools where I was always the new girl.
Change was the only constant. Chaos was familiar.
Like this, I never rooted to anything or anyone. The only thing to keep me grounded no matter where I would lay my head at night, was the rhythm of the sun, moon and seasons. Still to this day, they are the anchors of my hygiene routine.
The other constant was my forced hermitude and servitude. Good girls stayed in, helping their mothers cook and clean.
I, was not a good girl. Domestic chores didn't interest me much. I preferred to read, wrote, think, argue, wrestle, write plays and make movies. Eventually I found a way to escape my prison by meditating and accessing my creativity, intuition and purpose.

Hi, I am a 200 hr instructor (RYT-200), registered with the Yoga Alliance. I teach pranayama/breathwork and meditation through kundalini yoga, a powerful practice that not only facilitates energy healing but also helps to cut through blocks and limitations. This approach opens perception and intuition, allowing for a sustainable transformation in your life. Additionally, I am a certified Brain Longevity Specialist® via the Alzheimer's & Dementia Prevention Foundation and have received certification from the SuperHealth® organization to address addictive behaviors and break habits using yogic science. I believe that by focusing on kundalini yoga, you can embark on a journey of spiritual coaching to unlock your superhuman potential, starting with simply feeling super.

In a few years' time, using Kundalini yoga, and only my breath and my body, I accidentally healed myself. I was able to replace my chronic depression, anxiety, and mental fog with sustainable peace, clarity, and purpose.
I replaced my medication with meditation.
Without missing a beat, I delved deep into the practice of Kundalini Yoga (KY), Ayurveda, yogic science, and the Yoga Sutras, extracting the essentials of ancient wisdom for modern life. If all I do is teach people to breathe, be still for a little bit every day, maintain a flexible spine, and establish a stable rhythm to their days and lives, I will be raising the vibration of the planet.
As modern science catches up to ancient Eastern practices, meditation and breathwork are finally receiving the recognition they deserve. I believe these practices will soon be integral to our daily hygiene routine, supported by principles of spiritual coaching.
